Flaming June!

Well I think Summer time is finally here! The weather this weekend has been the hottest so far this year!
Its a really great time of the year to come to the Lakes with lots of festivals and local summer agricultural shows including Hawkshead and Coniston not too fay away!
This weekend is the ever popular Appleby Horse Fair, and Holker Garden Festival.
The 18th June sees the annual 'Great North Swim' held on Windermere Lake, which will bring a lot of visitors to Ambleside and surrounding areas. Good luck to all you competitors!
And finally we are all really looking forward to 'Ambleside Sports' this year, I have spent a busy 12 months preparing with the committee for what I am sure will be another successful day! Keep Thursday 28th July free in your diary's!
