Santa comes to Ambleside!

Hi everyone,
Santa took time out of his busy schedule on Saturday to come and turn on our Christmas lights here in Ambleside. Some of his friends came to join him such as his reindeer, fairies, and other little helpers.
The village was very busy and it was a spectacular event. The playground was turned into an ice skating rink, the market place was filled with Christmas stalls. The mulled wine and mince pies stalls were very popular i was told! The lanterns lined the way for santa to follow and turn on the lights with a sprinkle of his magic dust. To end a fantastic afternoon at Rothay park there was an amazing firework show to bring the afternoon to an end.
